Dan provides a personalised, reliable service and operates with great aptitude where his main forefront is integrity. Dan is passionate about the building industry and more importantly people.
Why is a Building and Pest Report important?
Your potential property may be aesthetically pleasing, however it is imperative that you get a second opinion by an industry expert. A trained expert will investigate further and look for major and minor defects on the property which can include the following:-
Fire Hazards
Health and Safety Hazards
Termite Damage and Structural Issues
Moisture Damage
Fungal decay and presence of mould
Non - compliant building practices and poor design functionality
A good building inspector will be on the look out for homes that do not meet building codes and safety standards, or have aesthetic ‘cover ups’ such as a fresh coat of paint over existing mould or termite damage. The building report will identify any major or minor defects and will outline the overall condition of the property compared to similarly constructed and reasonably maintained buildings of approximately the same age.
